What is collected?

ICTV may collect unidentified or anonymous information about your visit to the ICTV site including the internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the date and time you visited, browser version, among other anonymous data points.  If you submitted an email or a form ICTV also may actively collect the submitted information such as your name, email address and company information.  No credit card data is captured or retained on any ICTV servers.  When registering for ICTV events, personal information including your name, contact information and related information is collected.

Who do you share my data with?

No data is ever shared, exchanged or sold to any third party. Credit card data is encrypted and provided directly to third party credit card processors and merchant banks and is never stored or retained by ICTV.

Why is this data collected?

1. As part of ICTV mission, we publish resources, and reports about membership and internet use.  

2. Information is collected to help improve the website, analyze trends, and administer the site. 

3. Data for event registrations is retained for registration, billing, program evaluation and future event communications.

4. Email communications are mailed on occasion and limited to news about ICTV initiatives and events. 

How long is the data retained?

1. Web usage and site traffic data is aggregated and retained for a period of 36 months. 

2. Email subscription and membership data is retained as long as a subscriber maintains membership, log-on rights and/or the email does not bounce or  is rejected more than once or until he/she terminates their electronic relationship with ICTV.
